Creating Space for Something Bigger
Growth needs room. If your calendar has no space for the future you want, it's time to make some — intentionally and without guilt.

Most women don't lack ambition. They lack space. Between work, family, commitments and the countless invisible tasks that fill each day, there's little time left to think about what's next — let alone work towards it.
Yet growth doesn't happen in leftover moments. It needs deliberate room.
Why space matters
Development requires thinking time, learning time and recovery time. Without it, we operate on autopilot: responding to demands rather than shaping direction. Space allows you to step back, see the bigger picture and make intentional choices about your future.
Creating space is not a luxury. It's a strategic investment in yourself.
Audit where your time goes
Before adding anything new, look honestly at how your time is currently spent. For one week, notice what fills your days. Which activities move you forward? Which simply keep things ticking over? Which could be delegated, reduced or stopped altogether?
Most people find at least a few hours each week that could be reclaimed.
Protect time like a priority meeting
If development time only happens when everything else is done, it won't happen. Schedule it in your calendar as you would an important meeting — even if it's just an hour a week. Give it a clear purpose: reading, planning, learning a skill, or working on a personal project.
Treat that time as non-negotiable. You'd show up for others; show up for yourself too.
Say no to make room for yes
Every yes to something that doesn't matter is a no to something that does. Saying no can be difficult, especially if you're used to being dependable for everyone. But boundaries are what make growth possible.
Try responses such as: "I'd love to help, but I don't have capacity this month," or "I can't take that on, but here's who might."
Create mental space, not just time
Space isn't only about the calendar. Mental clutter — unfinished decisions, constant notifications, background worry — can be just as limiting. Simple habits help: writing down open loops, setting phone-free periods, and taking short walks to think.
Clarity comes more easily when your mind has room to breathe.
Start with a season, not a lifetime
Big changes can feel unsustainable. Instead, commit to a focused season of growth — perhaps 90 days. Choose one area to develop and one regular block of time to invest in it. At the end, review what you've learned and decide what comes next.
Make room for your bigger life
At She Almighty, we believe every woman deserves space to explore her power, develop her potential and pursue her purpose. That space rarely appears on its own. It's created through intentional choices, firm boundaries and the belief that your growth matters.
Make room for something bigger. Your future self is waiting for it.
